CBD stands for Cannabidiol. CBD is non-psychoactive, it will not induce any type of high. All of our CBD products are derived from "industrial Hemp", therefore it contains less than the legal limit of Δ9-THC (0.3%). "Studies suggest that CBD has a multitude of benefits; ultimately, CBD is a regulator and aims to balance our internal functions. The goal is Homeostasis." (CBD Livity).
When mulitple cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN, Δ8-THC, etc.) are present together, they can create an "Entourage Effect", which means they interact with eachother and the brain's receptors, which is more effective than just one cannabinoid by itself. The cannabinoids gain enhanced effects when multiple compounds synergistically work together rather than alone. CBD is non-toxic, but our bodies can only absorb so much, so the rest will be flushed out. Minor side effects include sleepiness and headache, so if you experience any negative effects, it's most likely because of an excessive amount. CBD Isolate is the CBD molecule isolated from the rest of the plant chemicals. Broad Spectrum contains more than one plant chemical but not all (typically the THC is removed). Full Spectrum means that all naturally occuring plant chemicals are still intact, including THC. So, if the user has to take drug tests, they should stay away from Full Spectrum CBD products. All animals with a backbone have the same Endocannabinoid System as humans do. CBD can interact with certain medications, it's best to speak with your friendly doctor or physician to make sure it's okay to take.
CBD works over time. Consistency is key for the endocannabinoid effects to occur.
All of our CBD and other hemp products contain less than 0.3% Δ9-THC.
